Opt for sneakers or sandals featuring durable straps. Recommended: Bring waterproof footwear if you have them.
Pack an extra set of clothes and towels for changing post kayaking/Sup activities. Remember to bring a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses. We know you love a good tan, but the Vietnamese sun is often harsher than expected!
Ensure you have mosquito and insect repellent cream.

Strictly NO loitering: Please be mindful and remove all personal trash from the forest area during the trip.

ITINEARY

8:00 AM: Viet Kolors company car and tour guide will pick you up at your District 1 hotel. Depart for Ma Da Forest and Tri An Lake. The 75km journey takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.

9:45 AM: Arrive at the forest edge. Applied mosquito/insect repellants as you listen to relevant safety information before beginning the trekking journey into the Ma Da tropical forest.

Learn about tree species, including the Civet Tree (over 100 years old), Lychee Tree, Leather Tree, Turtle Necklace, Trung Quan Leaf, and various edible and poisonous mushrooms with our tour guide!
Discover small lagoons inhabited by stone crabs and fish.
Enjoy the 3.9km trek in the cool forest air, immersing yourself in nature.

11:00 AM: Trekking concluded. Take your last pictures and board the car for another scenic 30-minute journey to the restaurant. Upon arrival, be captivated by the vast panorama of Tri An Lake, a perfect backdrop for relaxation and perfect photo opportunities.

12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, take your time to unwind in a hammock or sip on coffee while taking in the lakeside view.

01:00 PM: Explore the lake with optional paddleboarding, kayaking, or fishing activities.

Optional experiences such as: motor boat, banana float, and canoe are available at your own expense.

02:00 PM: Dry yourself well and board the car for the trip to the native-Vietnamese apple orchard.

Note: This is a Vietnamese apple variety, the fruit is small but very sweet and crunchy (and occasionally a sour treat as well!). You can eat the apples on the spot or buy them to take home if you’d like.

02:30 PM: Wrap up the trip and re-board the car for the ride back to the city

05:00 PM: Return to Ho Chi Minh, marking the end of this exciting and fulfilling journey.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:

If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:

Up to 24 hours before the start of the activity: full refund
Less than 24 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
